Welcome to the Circle of Arts Foundation

Inspiring Creative Healing

The Circle of Arts Foundation is Not For Profit Foundation.

Like everything we do, this site is developed by “us”.

No fancy ad agencies have been engaged in the production of this web site and associated social medias.

A welcoming organisation formed by a group of volunteers from various backgrounds.

We are growing by the week as projects come in line and people come forward with wonderful skills and ideas and a will to help others whilst being a part of great projects.

Presenting “Outback Beauty” by John Bundy Bannermann

View the world from the high seat. As a long haul truckie, Bundy shares the details we speed past – if we are lucky enough to see them at all ! Bundy works across a range of medias and does spectacular work on copper, stainless steel, aluminium, and timber.

Bundy is a long term member of the Circle of Arts Foundation and the Bearded Dragon Gallery Adelaide, and his work was recently featured on the Karoonda Silos S.A.

Bundy grew up in the outback from the age of eight and entered his family’s trucking business at an early age, trucking everything from sheep, cattle, mining machinery and hay. These experiences continue to inform his artworks.
Art came to him late in life after ill-health, and has helped him to heal. An outsider artist, Bundy’s works explores outback life, mental health and themes of acceptance. In 2023 Bundy was a finalist in the SALA Advertiser Contemporary Art Prize.

The blue badge on my hat and the pink swirl of paint on my palette represent men’s mental health, and breast cancer, both issues close to my heart.

I worked in the outback until recently. Years ago I had a bet with the local wool balers Bachelor and Spinsters Ball Committee to wear a pink shirt to the ball. I haven’t stopped since and wear the pink shirt everywhere even to  art class. Life can be dark, so I find colour where I can.
