Born in Tallinn, Estonia. Since 2002 live and work in Adelaide, SA.
When I see a copper-yellow leaf dancing autumn tango I want to paint autumn. When I watch noisy parrots in the park, I can’t wait to draw birds. When spring comes and cherry blossoms, I want to paint nature.
But most of all I love to paint medieval towns which are full of mystery, fairy tales and beauty.
Painting them, I plunge into the old world, wander through the narrow streets, and listen the whisper of the past. I would like to share my love to old towns with other people.
For my painting I use acrylic on canvas and prefer bright deep colours.
“Music of Ancient Cities” Street musicians perfectly complement the life of ancient cities. It is easy to imagine a violinist on a tiled roof, a harmonica player near a cosy cafe, a saxophonist on the wall of a medieval castle. But the music of ancient cities is not only the sounds of musical instruments. It is also the howl of the wind in the old chimneys, the clatter of hooves on cobblestones, the sound of the first car horn, the creak of a brass weather vane, the sighs of a dim street lamp, and much more… I invite you to take a walk through the ancient cities to listen to the unique magical music of antiquity…
